SideFX Houdini 22 MCP Server
MCP support built into SideFX Houdini 22 through the new APEX Script workflow. AI assistants can access a curated collection of APEX Script syntax, functions, documentation and examples, helping artists generate and refine code for procedural character rigs. Initial implementation focuses on APEX Script and character rigging, while community-developed MCP servers offer broader ways for agents to interact with Houdini. Announced at SIGGRAPH July 20, 2026 as part of NVIDIA's agentic AI creative ecosystem updates.
